Telegraph Station - Semillon
"We have this day, within two years, completed a line of communication 2000 miles long through the very centre of Australia" 22 August 1872
The Overland Telegraph Stations built in 1972 between Port Augusta in the south and Darwin in the north connected Australia with the rest of the world.
Semillon is a classic French grape which has become one of Australia's most iconic white varietals. Telegraph Station Semillon has aromas of fresh lime and gooseberries with zesty citrus and tropical fruit flavours. This elegant wine is perfect served lightly chilled with fish and seafood dishes, poultry or salads.
